95 Talon TSI - despite a lot of searching it looks like replacement hatch seals are no longer available. I’m guessing we need to try to make a standard seal work. If so, do we just scrape off the old seal and glue a new one in place? If so, is there a specific type of glue to use?

Given its not completely shredded I would try and salvage it

I finally figured out it attaches by slipping over the pinch weld. I originally thought it was glued flat. Anyway, I found something very similar on Amazon, so I went ahead and ordered it. I’ll post an update when it comes in.

Update. The weather stripping from Amazon worked perfectly. It was a 10 minute job at most. Here is the link and a few pics. I think I ordered 25 ft to be sure and had almost 6 ft left over LOL.

Still need to put a hose on it, but I feel confident this seal fixed it. The hatch closes a bit tighter now, and there were several side holes in the old seal, not to mention it was barely hanging on. We’ve been busy replacing the stock speakers with some Kicker CS series, 6.5’s in the doors and 6x9’s in the back. MAJOR upgrade, but also a major pain as the rear speaker mounts took some serious customization LOL. The paper cones in the stock speakers were mostly missing. Nursing this old girl back to health a little at a time.
