I had two 92 TSI awd's with 6bolt motors (not rare...just stating). One had LSD and ABS, with leather, no sunroof, hatch cover and that nice center console cup holder. Other one had all that but was Black leather and no abs.

I had a 91GSX mint virgin with air oil cooler, sunroof, factor amp in hatch (with hatch cover). And I had the window sticker and everything for it.
 
You should really try to find the other 8% of your car they never made...

I've got the cargo cover on my 1G, and i know theres a couple in a junkyard near me, they had 8 1G's in this yard and i know 2 or 3 had it in there. Unfortunately I got kicked out of said junkyard ### the guy who runs it is kinda old and doesn't like "kids".
Also my door handles are still in quite good condition, didnt even have the slightest idea that was a common problem.

And a question to end on... how many 1G's have a working trunk lock in the taillight? mine doesn't, 2 of my friends with 1G's dont, a couple in that junkyard that still had keys in them didn't... So i've yet to see one of them function, probably a common failure. Inside release still works good.

Were you able to sell those 2g carbon fiber fenders? That was indeed rare. That was the only set I've ever seen on a DSM.

I've got carbon fiber fenders, hood, hatch, spoiler, exhaust guard, fog light covers, wiper cowl, hatch cover, headliner, and door sills?

Does that count as rare?

It might be a little much but it needed a lot of work and I didn't have to paint CF :D

mine works fine but my drive door doesnt and it BLOWS!

the trunk lock on both of mine doesn't work either.

my door kick however have a mind of their own. on my Talon, they will only stay locked if you do it from the passenger side, other wise it will just kick itself back (the little tab on the inside). on my Eclipse, the drivers inside door lock will lock the passenger door but I have to lock the driver door from the outside with the key.
 
I have a 2GB TSi AWD with no sunroof, ABS or LSD, is this rare?
 
My 1994 talon has a 1993 build date (this meens that its one of the first of the last ones made), and every lock works flawlessly with the origional key. I have the leather covered booklet and all the origional paperwork for my talon as well as the stuff from DIAMOND CARE woot woot. I have the factory tool bag, jack, spare tire and none of them have ever been used and still look brand new there just a little dusty LOL.

I have a full spare set of 1g dsm locks for both doors, ignition, and possibly the hatch that came out of my old 1990 gs-t before it got crushed. I don't think I'm gonna be needing them at all now because all mine work with no problems. I kept the locks because I was getting annoyed by not beeing able to lock my doors and I wasn't gonna have it happen with the next DSM I bought.

The only parts I'm missing from my DSM is the sunroof bag, sunroof interior cover, and the snap on roof deflector. If I had them items my talon would be complete.
 
I have a divided T4 SLS manifold with dual 38mm wastegate flanges. I paid a pretty penny for this back in the day.
 
my n/a venge has CF GSX side skirts. only 4 were ever made, and 2 have been destroyed.
it also has an original TCSportline OEM style CF hood, which not many of those were made either.
 
who else can say they have Dogde airbags in their DSM? :banghead:

I consider a lot of the parts on my car rare as they almost all came from an Evolution 1. I have a real Evo 1 4G63 with trans and drive train, suspension, brakes, exterior and interior. I also have a set of Evo 4 recaros (front and back) which are currently in my yellow car in my avatar. My next project has a fairly rare motor which is a 4G93 DOHC Turbo from a Lancer 1800 GSR. I know neither of these are really DSMs but they are from the same family and a lot of the engine parts, etc are considered rare by the DSM community.
