Does anyone know where I can get new rubber inserts for my top radiator mounts? I am dressing mine up so I am looking for new ones.

They are not sold separately from the dealer. You would have to buy two new brackets, press the bushings out, and press them into your brackets.

WTF? Why do they come out then? That's stupid.

They are not very easy to get out. My brother and I removed a set when we powdercoated the brackets. It required a hammer almost the same size as the inserts, a vice, and some fairly hard hitting. Because of the hammer being the same size, no damage was done, but they weren't like the 2g's rubber that you can remove by hand.

I had no issue getting mine out with a hammer and a socket. Acted like a press to get them out. I powder coated my brackets now I'm ready for new ones. I need alternatives for buying new brackets just for the inserts!!!

Does anyone know if the bottom inserts are the same size as the top ones? If so you can get those.

You can use the Energy Susension sway bar bushings from autozone. There like $13 and enough to use in 4 cars (if you use two per car). I did it with my sentra. My radiator does not move at all.

I did this awhile back and Its working good so far

After I installed these Polyurethane ES End Link Grommets 9.8106 on my end links. I found out that i have 2 extra left overs. So i looked around on every small rubber bushing in my engine bay and guess what, i found these 2 extra bushing more useful as far as reducing the vibration and rough idle sometimes whenever our radiator fans turns on.

Remove this radiator upper bushings

Cut the middle to make space for the es end link grommet...it should look like the one on the left

Put it back

and then insert the grommet. It should be a little bit tight, but if its loose then use rubber glue or something to make sure that the grommet stay in place.
