Radiator fan removal

Not sure if this goes here. I now know that this is such a simple thing to do, but it hopefully will save someone an hour in the freezing cold trying to figure this out.

I just read the other day a 1000 word post on how to wash your car properly, so this has a place too i guess.

I have a coolant leak traced to radiator from the fans rubbing on the core due to padding not properly installed. Wonder which side is leaking.

I was battling with how to get the radiator fans seperated from core. Which are connected by these sping loaded plastic screws. I was trying to be delecate and not damage core, screws or fan.

Solution: Cut em. These are "big zip ties". Quoted from someone with a lot more xcommon sense than myself. Hope this helps
