quick drivetrain ?

alright so the deal is my friend has a 93 talon tsi fwd and he wants to swap to all wheel drive. The question is, is the 1g swap comparable to the 2g swap that is posted at http://www.automotivearticles.com/AWD_Conversion.shtml thanks

nope. don't do it. fwd to awd is not nearly as easy as a 2g and requires a lot of custom fabrication. the suspension is totally diff just for example.

I totally agree. I have an AWD and I just got my first look under a FWD (since most of my other friends have AWD as well) and I was quite surprised when I saw it had a beam axle in the rear.
