I'm getting a 2.5" turbo back exhaust on my Talon TSI and I was wondering how most people had their pipes running.......under or over the rear axle.......I heard that the Apex N1 runs under the rear axle....just curious any input would help.......thanks

Just about everyone and all aftermarket catback run under the axle. This is so the pipe can be straighter for better flow. Kinking it to go over the axle would be bad for flow!

My RSR goes over the rear axle. It's 3 inch to (might be 2.75 where it goes over, it's definetly bigger than 2.5). No complaints about it, but my car isn't lowered. That might cause some problems.

As far as i know only 2 aftermarket exhausts run under the axle but most of them are over the axle like stock. As far as flow wise there is no difference just looks and easier installation. I had a hard time getting my 3inch to fit over the axle but after some twists and turns it fit like a glove.
