I was wondering how much trouble it was for you other n/t's to put on you cai with the cone filter. was the cone filter trouble to fit in, or did you guys have no problem. if you could, please post some pics of your intake. I was wondering because my filter was tough to fit in, and is in there pretty snug. wondering if that is common or not.

maybe when u were puttin it on the horn got on the way? that was the case with me, the b*tch wouldnt go in so i had to get under the car and more the horn up, and now everythin is fine! :thumb:

What kind of CAI is it? my AEM one wouldnt fit, so i just loosened the bolt that holds the horn in place, and swung it up to make room. its pretty easy.

where is the bolt for the horn located. I will have to try and do that.

Ok im at school right now so i cant go and check, but if i remember correctly, the horn is a pedel looking thing that hangs down. just follow the post it is connected to and there should be a bolt there to swing it around. i get out of school at 3:15 so ill check for you then

im pretty sure u dont even need to unscrew the bolt, at least i didnt, u should just push it out of ur way.... just push and it should move cuz i believe its only held by one bolt and it should be pretty easy to move :thumb:

Damn, i thought i was the only loser that spent an hour and a half putting on my CAI only to find out the horn was in the way. You guys just made me feel alot better

well thanks guys. i was worried before that i was the only one having problems putting the cai on too. good to know i'm not the only one. thanks again for the help.

i had a lot of trouble getting that damn rubber mount on. it just wouldnt fit in the hole... boy i have trouble wiht that alot... LOL what a pain in the ass...
