Why do you want this for real? Something different? If so, thats just silly. If not and you want a wide powerband, just do a little searching and research on turbos that will make a nice powerband.

Honestly, twincharging a DSM just seems stupid when they can make 400whp with just a evo16g. Maybe i just don't get it, but it just seems stupid.

Why does it seem silly to you, progress doesn't happen when people do the same thing over and over. It's like that thing about history repeating itself. Don't you ever get tired of the same old thing. I know I get tired of seeing the same old civics with the huge exhaust tips buzzing around with primer and fiberglass body panels hanging off. Thats why I took on my talon project. Change is good. Stupid is following after everyone in front of you, even though you want change, just because its the norm. Inovation is what created the engine in your car, remember they used to use steam engines in trains and boats, until somebody thought of something different. Those steam engines were working just fine at the time. Think about driving around a steam powered DSM. Silly thought isn't it. Do you get it now?

But take a note from the EVO guy. He is taking the car to AEM to do all the work for him. These are engineers fabbing up the BEST of parts to get it all to work. I can't fathom the ammount of money he has poured into getting it all to work out.

I have no problem with this, but given the space, time, money needed, and R&D time needed, there's not realistic way to pull it off and be safe.

If there was a company willing to throw down the thousands of dollars to get this to work then yes, i'd be down in a heartbeat. But it just doesn't seem worth it.

I agree about new things are a good change, hence why i bought an AT DSM. I wanna build lots of power out of an auto car, espically with the TCUGO out now it's entirely possible. But it's the same case, someone threw down all the cash to figure it all out and make it work smoothly.

My only issue with this is it seems like a waste of money unless you're working with a company that can support the needs and tuning and everything the needs to happen to make it work.

If he has the money to spend, then go for it. I'll buy a kit once it's fully developed and A LOT cheaper.

LOL, new things can also be bad ideas.

The ricer wing is a prime example, along with ricer exhausts, 4" exhaust tips, messican wheels/etc.

Dsm's aren't a new vehicle, these things have been around for 16+ years now, tons of people modding them and very very few twincharging. Why? Not because it hasn't been attempted, because it isn't worth it in the end. Too much money spent when just one big ball bearing turbo will do the job better.

I will agree with those that think it is a bad idea. Now my reasons are not the same as the rest however. I thought this screen name looked familar.

What happen to the high comression all motor 4G63 you were going to build? I thought in all the other off the wall idea threads you posted you said time and time again you know a LOT?!?!

The reason I KNOW this won't happen is becasue this guy changes crazy ideas like underwear. Now while I do agree that thinking out side of the box is good for advancement you also have to look at the over scope of the project and the over all scope of the person. Plus no matter what people say sometime things are just too much given the outcome. I could easily do some crazy mod to make 4 WHP after spending 5K to do so. That IMO is just stupid unless the knowledge gained can carry over to other cars or ideas.

Hell you could spool a gt45r almost instantly...Its called nitrous. Far more easier, WAY CHEAPER and well...I dunno if it would be safer.
