Well, tonight I went out and tried to do some tuning with my afc. I wish I could post the logs I got, but since I got Vista I have been unable to load them to my computer. Could anyone tell my why my timing is only advancing to 13 degrees? There must be knock somewhere, but my timing graph is smooth up to the 13 degree peak. I am on stock injectors, a walboro 190, and a 14b. Anyone have any suggestions? I tried adding some fuel, but it didnt really seem to matter.

***May I also add even though the timing is showing that it's being pulled my egt's are solid at about 1550 deg.

Hmmm, well posting a log would solve your issue. What logging software are you using? I'm running Vista with OBD Gauge software for the logger and I can load 'em up fine.
If it's progressing smoothly with no dips on the way up, you might want to check your coolant/ air temps.

Try to get that log up.

Was that at WOT? If it's at 13 at WOT then I'd say that's not too bad at all. I think you were right when you said it could be knock, but that's not very low timing for 3rd gear pulls or something. I'd say grab yourself a wideband as soon as possible, but also turn down your boost and see if that helps. If it's at 13 when you're just idling or cruising around town that seems way low. What are your coolant temps like? That can cause the ECU to mess with the timing too, but that's at really high temps.

Your logs would be good to have, but let us know more about what rpm and boost level the timing started to not climb as high at. It's allright if it's wide open though, but if you want to go anymore you should get some fuel support. I'll check back and try to help some more, but I'm just guessing because there's not much to go on.

I'm using palm'n stein and it blows, I know. The pulls were at WOT. Do these help?

I guess after typing all these I can see where I may need to add some fuel, but still why is it only reaching 13 degrees max?
