Cool build. Really unique with that electric power steering setup. I am curious though why you went to it over the factory power rack? It was a lot of fab work to make it happen and did it really gain you anything efficiency/power wise? I mean sure you dont have the PS pump to run anymore but that big alternator has to create the extra power to run the electric steering motor which should be close to the same drag on the engine.

Man thats a lucky find. Which pick and pull are you going too? The big one down there in Stockton? I built my 7 bolt because I couldn't find a decent 6 bolt at any of the pick and pulls up here near Sac. Looked for a long time. Funny you mention about the harness being hacked up. You see people doing some weird stuff at pick and pull. Nobody cares haha.
