project 90 gsx 10.50 street car!!!!!

bought the car with 80k on the chassis and after being around the dsm game for awhile now i thought it would be time to make a rele fast street car!! a 10.50 street car!!!




here we go on the lift ready to remove alot of shit!!!!

started cutting out everything in trunk area. including sound deadening material and braces. stuff that was not usefull at all!!

after everything was removed ready for paint!!!

and nice and glossy. clean

somewhat finshed. lots of detail left....

Now on for the good stuff! me and my friend kyle parted out a race 1g and i grapped this subframe from him. clean no rust. cleaning getting ready for paint!!!

I started from the front of the car to the front on this build!
i orded every bulfab option you can buy.
3sx controll arms
the car already had a 4 bolt lsd when i got it so i was soo excited i didn thave to buy one!

jays racing toe eliminators." helped out a lot!!!!!!!

and the work begins

cleaned up the rear diff cover and replaced with grade 8 bolts and washers.. exhaust looks shitty but will be switching over to aluminum rele soon. everything bit counts!!!

figured out while i was shopping id buy a jays racing altenator relocation kit.. well worth like 125 bucks.. keep that heat away from charging system

Also, I might be seeing things, but that extender arm on the jay kit looks half the length of all three kits I have, 2 for my 1g 1 aluminum 1 steel and the other is a 2g kit. Or is it just the picture?

the intercooler piping is all 2.5 inch custom. im working on making the chasis lite weight . curently the chasis weights 2660 pounds on the local weight station.i try to do a clean gut job if it makes sense.. if i remove it . i try to paint it and make it look good when im done
i took out
bumpers front and rear
evrything from seats back including wires and and boxes.
light weight controll arms
bulfabs front and rear kmember bars
everything underndash
rear wiper motor
evreything in hatch
exhaust heat shields gas tank heat shields
all sounds deaden material in car. fire wall blanket
ac power sterring gone..maybe some more


im curently working on light weight hatch and doors.. but i rele clean job. lexan rear window. and removing crash beams in door.. trying to get car to bout 2450 2500 pounds...

then coilovers, dss drive shaft, and jmf fuel cell.
front subframe is coming off and getting solid buhsings[DOUBLEPOST=1413164319][/DOUBLEPOST]

here is a hatch that i pickup from my friend kyle removed window. and all the hatch bullshit. literaly weigth 20 pounds.. going to paint it and do a lexan rear window


made some custom bumper covers and painted them white

and of course gotta fill up on some e85

the plan is to make 550 whp - 600whp and do some street racing. atleast 10.50 index car.. well see i wanna see what drew has in store for my car.. very intrested to find out.. hear alot of good things
