so i finally swapped in the EVO III. took forever and today i finally programed the AFC and started the car. All was well until i started getting a little smoke from around the area of where the turbo meets the manifold. Thought nothing of it really maybe just burning off a coating or something let it keep running. Noticed the water temp was a little high so i turned it off and added coolant then restarted. gauge settled normally. My next problem came as a noise. origionally thought valve noise but it's comming from the trans side. Hold the rpm's around 3k and it became present. when i pressed the clutch in the noise went away. I settled with the fact that i may need to adjust the clutch? So i killed the car got out to clean up for the day. Coolant all over the ground infront of the car seems to be from the overflow. However before closing the hood i noticed coolant ontop of the turbo itself as if it were leaking all of a sudden. I looked before when it was smoking and saw nothing is it possible for the banjo bolts to start leaking all of a sudden? Any help anyone can give me would be great. This is turning into a huge pain in the ass.
