Same here, for 3 years now, mainly electrical drafting for the past 2 years. I'm also go to school fulltime :thumbdown (23 yr old freshman) at Southwest Baptist University, and I'm the Youth Pastor at my church.

As with any job, it depends on the people you work with. I happen to work with a great group of younger people, so I really like it. The pay is good, job security is guaranteed, and once busy season is over, it's over. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me.

Well I'm another.... I'm an Air Operations Controller. For the air force guys I'm "command post" but in a special duty. Aka When I'm at home all I do is get ready to leave and go either to the middle of nowhere (iraq/afganistan) or commercial airports and run an airfield with a really small team.

im a laser technician at a steel mill in ohio. i basically take infrared laser readings of big furnaces that they melt steel in and find out where the furnace is getting worn out. its alot of trig but hey its a job. my other job is ebay

I work for Palm Beach lincoln mercury/auto exotic where i have to work on old peoples stupid grand marquis and towncars, but everyonce in a while a ferrari or lambo will come in from the auto exotic store and they'll say its running funny, so we say ok we have to "test drive it" to identify the problem

Theres alot a cool jobs posted on here gratz I just got my job about a week ago I make beer kegs, for miller and bud. about 400 a week starting I dont mind it it pays the bills mabey a few more years and ill be out a debt but its hard when rents 600 a month.

I was a mechanic for about 7 years working 6 days a week. Now I drive a truck for a glass wholesaler and work 4 days a week and make 45-50K a year. It's nice to be home more and having my kids know who i am.

I'm a cryogenic technician. It's a real fancy job title but basically all I do is weld. The name of the company I work for is Amko Service Company. We fix trailers that haul liquid nitrogen, oxygen, argon, and hydrogen for Praxair. We do everything from suspension work to casing repairs to installing new piping in the trailer. That's mostly what I do, putting new piping and valves in the back of the trailers. Requires alot of TIG stainless steel pipe welding. I make about 30k a year.

well i was sitting here, wondering what everyone does to make their money and pay for their car and/or parts. so lets hear where you work, what you do, and what your bringin in an hour...

im on the hunt for a new job right now, as my current one cuts everyone's hours like crazy, may be a place some of you have heard of, Steve and Barry's University Sportswear, $7 an hour, and stocking or whatever needs done except for cashier... unless its just a keyholder closing/working, then whatever i feel like doing, including standing around and BSing with people

Ah man...i completely forgot about this thread...time to update!

I now go to UTI full time, and in the afternoons i work for New Images, an auto paint specialist. We work at Mitsu, Subaru, Dodge, Chyrsler, Jeep mostly. Any chips, scratches, scuffs, dents, damn near anything wrong with the lot cars we fix.

I dont even work 40 hrs a week and im making more then when i was detailing for Mitsubishi about 45/50hrs a week.

Garunteed $300 a week, paid weekly, plus commission on individual cars.

I need to sell a nut, get some stuff for the GSX...im getting bored with it!
