Porting Question

When you port the Exhaust, O2 houseing, Turbo T25 and the Throttle body do you feel the difference ? just asking casue im geting ready to do it with in the next 2 to 3 days.

I have the Evo o2 housing ported but when I ported my t-25 it felt like it spooled faster and pulled a LITTLE harder on top. After I ported it in 2nd gear without popping the clutch when I stomped it from like 35 or 40 it would bark the tires when the turbo spooled. It never did that before I ported the turbo so it does help but it's hard to say how much.

Porting is always a good idea. Porting the exhaust manni, O2 housing , and turbine housing are veryeasy. Porting the TB is not something I would recommend. I dont even port those. You can, however, port the intake elbow. All these ported will decrease spool time dramatically over stock. And will yieid approx. 20-30WHP. Maybe a little more.

-It's pointless to port the T/B unless you're going to get a larger throttle plate.

ok i hooked up the vent tube for the blow off vale ...cant vent no more and now it doesnt stall but the more bucks a bit and idels a bit bad how can i fix this ??? HELP ME IF YOU CAN I REALLY WOULD BE THANK FULL AND DO WHAT EVER I CAN TO HELP YOU.

-Are all your vacumn lines hook-up like they were b4? All the connectors plug in?

YUP THERE ALL IN THERE THE SAME WAY

ITS LIKE THEY ONLY GO IN ONE WAY BUT I THOUGHT OF THAT 2 ......IM THINKING OF ADJUSTING THAT SCREW ON THE THROTTLE BODY BUT SCARED TOO =0(

-On your other thread, you mention you had ported the TB, how much material you had removed? reuse old gaskets or new? I'm leaning more on you have not or have hook up the vacumn line wrong.

Well the throttle body i pulled off and just cleaned it off no porting there just the metal intake before the runners.and im still useing the old gasket.

im thinking when i cleaned the throttle body i sprayed it and screwed up one of the sensors ..... Egr . maybe you guys know how much for one of them ?
