Ok, I am planing on putting a turbo on my 1G GS(4G63) and I have a few questions on what I should get and where I should get it from. With that said its time for the questions... First I want to stay with 9:1 comp pistons and I was wondering what brand would be best while keeping price in mind? What rings do I need to get and where should I get them? What head gasket should I get and where should I get it? Do I need new rods? What is the best brand and grind camshafts would be best? One last question, What would be the best clutch to get? Thank you very much. :dsm:

Well first of all your gonna need alot more than that if you plan on making your gs a turbo. If you have a 90 gs eclipse, you should have the big rods already, and as far as pistons go i would go with the 95 pistons, pins, and rings not all that expensive and thats a good combo, you can get those from conicelli for about $265, theres a ton of more things your gonna need go there to find out more

Well, how fast do you want to run?. If you want to run high 12's, low 13's. Go with stock stuff. It takes 300hp to run high 12's to low 13's. I would get your head, put the 1g turbo exhaust cam in it, port it out, put 95 pistons in it. Front mount intercooler, 2.5-3 inch exhaust all the way back and a boost controller. You will be good to go. All of that can be done with Stock parts you can get at your salvage yard or DSM trader. I have a set of NEW IN BOX 2g pistons with rings for $200. PM if you are interested.
