Overdrive Issue

Alright so im having starting issues and it all started when I turned OD off. Anyone know what would cause the car to die and or have issues when OD is off? CEL came on when I switched it off as well. Thanks

what code are you getting?...over drive is really just a on/off button for a solenoid in the trans (or so i have been led to believe)

Well thats where it sucks the OBD port wont get a reading so I cant tell.
