Well.... It used to be cars LOL. I work at a junkyard so I get a lot of cars that come in for like $200 that "needs a wheel bearing" :ohdamn: so I'd make quite a bit of cash flipping stuff that came into the yard. best score yet was a 2003 wrx with 86k on it. nothing wrong with it.. just needed brakes. bought for $700 then $400 in brakes+tires.. sold for 3650. Also was given a 1990 suburban 2500 for raking a ladies lawn.. sold that for 2500 a few years ago.

Most of that is behind me now, since my daughter was born and buying a house my focus has shifted quite a bit. the old lady took off 2 months after I closed on the new house so my financial situation shifted quite a bit when I got hit with all the bills.

Still messing with a 91 laser RS, my GSX and a few other things here and there but mostly it's just home projects (doing insulation in the garage right now) I work 6 days a week so free time isn't too available and I only get my daughter on the weekends so my only day off I spend with her instead of the cars. So my free time goes to my cane corso puppy and my daughter :D and some xbox on the weeknights.

Lately I've been fishing the sh** outta any body of water I can get a cast into.Rofl. Fishing poles are always in my trunk.
Started fishing again 2 years ago. Started using an old rod and reel that I used a loooong time ago after finding it in my parent's garage. Granted, there haven't been a lot of breakthroughs in fishing technology, but it felt and looked old. I decided to upgrade with new equipment, and as you might expect I kind of went overboard and now have 10+ rod/reel combos and enough tackle for a small charter LOL. I fish mostly saltwater being by the ocean, but there are tons of lakes, ponds, and streams around here also. I keep at least one rod in the car also.

I have rehabilitated squirrels in the past. They take up a lot of your time. High maintenance just like our cars LOL. They still come around and hang out. They join me in the garage whenever I'm working on the car. Here's several pictures when I raised them and released them.

Other hobbies,

Love time at the range, I’d love more guns but I don’t make enough for that yet

I’m starting to get into making epoxy resin tables, I saw them all over Instagram and decided they were cool and bought a few live edge slabs

I have a big truck I play with, a 76 it doesn’t break as much as a lot of other stuff I own. It’s cool having a toy I can beat on and not worry about

I raced motocross from when I was 3-18 but stopped when I joined the military, I didn’t have anywhere to put a bike. Now that I do I don’t have a means of transporting my main bike down to my duty station

My jobs kind of a hobby, I get to be a jet engine mechanic 8hrs a day and when it’s not bitter cold outside it’s a lot of fun

I play with a bunch of friends cars, tuned a friends 1jz the other day. Helping my friend/roommate put a 302 in an e30, helping a buddy with a turbo Miata. Just some off the top of my head. Gotta keep fun stuff around

Love the gun collection you have. I feel you on helping the buddies with their cars. I believe I spend more time on my friends than I do my own. We are trying to get their stuff ready for Tx2k and it's a never ending process. My brother is already full bolt on in his final edition evo and we are probably fixing to go flex fuel on it with a bigger turbo and cams, my best friend we just finished going full bolt on with flex on his sti, just getting everything buttoned up for a dyno tune and my other friend is going full build on his vette.

Unfortunately that’s the whole house (me and my 2 roommates) only the top AR and the p320 belong to me

I wish my buddies were going full bolt one (it would make my life EASY!) but instead they all have to go all out. The buddy with the 1jz has a 2jz block in his garage just about ready for a machine shop

The 302 e30 keeps getting more and more fabrication as time goes one

The turbo Miata is just about ready for me to tune, still have to double check a couple small things injector impedance and the speed density wiring but should be okay.

I can’t wait to go flex fuel with my car, such a small change makes all the difference

Working on my high school car an 83 Rx7 12a i bought in 2004. Also I build and enjoy guns as well. Pew Pew club.

The evo my brother has is not going to get much more done to as he does not want to go wild with it. The sti will stay the way it is for a while as my buddy also has a 70 torino he wants to start building. Probably will be doing a coyote swap in it. And flex is a great way to go like you said you get so much out of it. Once I get my gsx cleaned up nicely and the way it should be and I get some disposable income I will go flex on it.

I think I'm in the shop welding/fabricating more often than not. But when I get out, it's usually to go shoot or kayaking. I'm on a 2-gun league and enjoy speed shooting. And also love getting out and exploring Michigan's rivers, any time of the year.

I never had good luck squirrel hunting as a kid. See hundreds of them in tien but never seen them out in the woods. I have felonies so I no longer can own a gun so have up hunting 15 years ago.
