So I just purchased this beauty a very short time ago on an impulse buy because of this car being such a rare find in the shape it's in. Completely stock down to every nut and bolt. It's been garage kept and adult driven it's whole life. 2 prior owners (brothers in same family).
Exterior is 9/10 Saronno red 100% original paint besides driver side door handle. OEM wheels need some TLC which I haven't gotten to yet
Interior 9/10 (super small blemish on driver seat).
Mechanically the car starts on the dime and drives extremely nice and straight as an arrow. There are no suspension noises or looseness of any kind. The only thing the car needs is a power antenna motor and new exhaust in due time (very small leak).

I have 2 kids 5yo and 3yo with a 3rd coming next month. I've realized I have absolutely 0 time for this car. I was out of the game for a couple years and I'm a car nut like most of us on these forums. I thought this would be a great hobby car to have in the garage for tinkering. Actually it is, but just not for me anymore with current lifestyle. also with having my jaw drop everytime one of my kids walks past the car leaving the garage haha.

The only thing I did to the car was replaced the OEM radio. I used the proper wire harness to tie new unit to OEM amp. It's a full Android radio and the install is very clean. Should I put the OEM back in for Max value? I also have the original mint window sticker for the car, 2 key fobs, and a 3 series repair book set from Mitsubishi in mint condition as well as flyers and feature books that were at dealership when this thing was first purchased.
The car has 120k miles. New brake calipers and discs. And a recent (within 5k miles) OEM clutch. Trans is perfectly smooth. Plan to take pics soon and throw it on cars .com. What should I ask?

Just looking for good advice from an enthusiast. I may have paid to much or not enough. Currently none for sale to compare.

I'd say between 5k-6500, depending on some details. Also going to depend on area, but typically a bone stock one with those miles on the west coast I see listed for 7-8 and they never sell. Soon as a clean one hits 5500, it's bought quickly.

a bit too high miles at 120k to bring what I have a feeling your looking for. 4500 or you will have to wait for someone who just wants it, a person who doesn't care if its a good deal or not.......they are out there.

    nice car though. good luck.

My buddy is looking to buy one, I'm not sure what you want from it but, he likely has $5500 or so.

I would say anywhere from 5000-6500. But yes if u want top dollar the right person is out there. Might take a while to sell but u have time to wait. I may also be putting my 97 eagle talon tsi awd for sale soon as I am going to be working out of state for a while. 106k original miles

I agree with EVLGSX. I'm sure it's a nice example but with 120k on it and absolutely bone stock you might be waiting for a little while at anything much over 4000. It really depends on that one buyer looking for one in your area. Also, the average amount of disposable income people have in NJ I'm sure is much higher than here in WV. I tried for 2 years to sell my 98 TSi AWD for as low as $500 after 90% returning it to stock. It's not as nice as yours though. In the end I just decided to keep it.

Thats absolutely crazy. DSMs must be preeety popular up there then.

Because of their rarity in AL I could sell my RS for three times that.
