Carol Stream, IL,
how come my driverside headlight is brighter then the other? doesn't matter what bulb but it is brighter... Do my headlights need an adjustment or something?

Is the headlight assembly discolored? That seems to happen a lot on the 95-96 models. Have no idea why though...

1.make sure the levels in the headlights are even....
2. use a plastic polish or mothers mag polish on the headlights its supposed to clear them....
3. put headlight assembly w/o the headlight bulb into oven @ 300deg for 4-5 minutes making sure they don't melt.... then pry open and clean out lens... then put back in oven for a shorter amount of time and walaa!
yea have fun...

i just redid my headlights.... cleaned inside and out and painting the chrome housing black. even before that the headlight was brighter

they are not level, what it is, is that the brighter headlight is probably aimed upward a little bit. that is what happend to me. cool thing about the 1g-b is that there are little levels in the headlight assmebly, but not sure about the 2g

my car just had some little gear looking things on the headlight that you use a screwdriver to rotate and that is how i adjusted mine.

Same thing applies to the 2g, you can also adjust left/right on a 2g.....

I've heard or read on some thread that the driver side is supposed to be brighter than the passenger side, so the driver can see the signs, etc. My memory is not so clear, however, I do remember reading about this somewhere.
