Is anyone running the old knob style apexi s-afc. I have a chance to get it pretty cheap, but can it tune like the newer ones or does it make it really difficult to tune? Thanks

Yeah they are cheap everywhere...IMO they suck ass..but it is better then nothing..so if you are not going to have enough money for the new afc..then I would get it...but I would just save a little omre and get a new afc...or save some more and get the afc 2..but its all up to you...
