The Venom intakes are actually very nice. I would compare it to a JMF drag or magnus race manifold. Geared toward high rpm high boost. The plenum volume is just massive.

If its so big couldnt it hurt spool time? It does look more like a jmf drag.

No. The turbo moves air at such a rate an extra litre of volume will not affect it. I do know that too much can affect throttle response at tip in. It's also known that you want the plenum volume to be 1.5-2 times the engine displacement for max top end power.

Some of us use that but not many. If you dont mind me asking, how much you pay for it? I have the jmf intake and I have no complaints.

I payed a 150 bucks for it. I noticed the size of It it looked a lot bigger then the new style venom manifolds

I will say it's one of the best manifolds ever made in design, but don't run alot of boost. I was braking alot of parts untill I placed one of those on my car. It kills torgue, but allows for more power. I later sold it, without having any problems with it. My friend ran a max of 33 psi, and I ran 30 psi on that falling to 27 psi by 7500 on a 20g. The manfold did end up cracking like some of the other venom manifolds out there. FYI, Venom only rates it up to 25 psi which in my opinion is to low for most modded 4g63's to make power with any given setup. I currently am running a cast manifold. The main reason I sold it, was I dared not tap and weld on nitrous bungs. The thickness in the runners seemed to thin.

I remember seeing those around! Looks like good quality, good info above I agree if your gonna run a smim your most likely planning on 25+ psi. Either way seems like a good buy though.

Yea I'm hoping she gets enough air to that Holset!!

I ran one on my 2g head for a while works great but as rham said they suck for holding, my hx40 on 40lbs cracked it once every couple weeks almost LOL.
