o2 sensor cable check?

how can i check the o2 sensor cable that leads to the ecu
wich pin to check and what to look for?
my a/f gauge is out and my o2 is 0.01 on the logger with the o2 sensor plugged or unplugged makes no difference so i gues my cable to the ecu is malfunctioning
btw this is with a new o2 sensor

Here is a link to the pinouts for a 1g turbo:

Then goto to electrical, and then to 1g turbo pinouts. Sounds like a wiring problem possibly, I would first obviously find the correct wires and then go through them visually to make sure no shorts or pinches, etc.

the problem is allready solved there was a problem with the wire from my a/f gauge to the o2 connector, now a/f gauge works and o2 is cycling
