Seems to me like there are a lot of this paint code around here, post with pics if you're A87.

2G Eclipses and Talons both came in this color, even though the paint "color" was called something different. Talon is Pewter Blue Pearl (A87) Eclipse is Magenta Gray Pearl also A87

Nope not in SF right now for the summer. So you wont see my car around there anytime soon.

I let this beauty go 4 years ago. It was my first entry into the dsm scene before I even knew there was a dsm scene. It was sooo stock that it hurt, but it was really clean back then. Some guy in Brentwood took it off my hands. It's probably still kicking around the area somewhere.

That is very clean! I know how it feels, I bought 3 DSMs as new cars. I wish just one of those I had parked in the garage and left it.

This is my baby, Not as clean, but still as mean! , for some reason she is pouting. Pulled out the old motor..that crankwalked to the point the crank ate the short lock. Then, found a revised block, and just built up a block to OEM Spec with my pops, Mr. Old School engine builder/racer. And 600 miles into the break-in the crank shifted sooo much the thrust washers popped out. >.< Still love the car though...which is weird, haha.

Sorry for the thread revival... But I'm highly considering buying a 97 tsi awd (97k miles/stock) in the a87 magenta grey pearl color. It's my 2nd favorite dsm.. But it would come with the excePtion of selling my beloved white 99 Gsx (140k miles/stock) my first favorite dsm. Honestly it's a tie between the two .. Please help me decide guys!

Unfortunately, I sold mine in March. Very hard to find parts for. I may get another one someday. But, at the time, it was my daily driver. I bought a 2012 car with a warranty and something that gets twice the gas mileage. And of course turbocharged.
