I have a '91 non-eprom ecu. I have been reading about removing the microprocessor and hooking a daughter board to it but I can't find anymore information on it. Anyone done this before? Is it hard to do? Would it just be cheaper to buy an eprom?

There's been lots of talk about daughterboards but I've never seen one. I believe TMO abandoned the project as costing as much to carry out as buying an EPROM ECU (once time for installation and R&D is factored in). Just buy an EPROM ECU.
