no fuel or tach

well i just got done rebuilding my head on my 90 talon, and i got it all back together and ready to start and well it didnt start. i thought i wasnt getting any spark but i was. then i went and checked for fuel, i have fuel pressure in the lines and etc, but the injectors arent opening. then i opend the intercooler and sprayed in starting fluid and what do you know it started but ran like shit. and i also noticed when it was idling like crap the tach wasnt working. soo i thought it could be the ecu soo i swapped out for a stock ecu and removed the safcII and still the same problem. any explinations?

well i found the tach issue and that was a bad plug, soo i fixed it. but still no fuel. hooked up a noid light and the injectors arent getting a signal... any good way to trace back the fuel lines? and if i didnt have the coolant temp sensor hooked up would that make it soo theres no fuel? ( i know it wont effect it just my buddie dosnt belive me.)

I dont know about your issue in particular but i do know that the coolant sensor being inop or disconnected will cause ALOT of starting/idling/running issues.
