There's a good amount of nice cars that go there, I'm just afraid that the number of people that still go there have dwindled down to maybe a handful due to the weather. I personally haven't been there in the past 2 weeks due to weather/personal issues so I can't say what to expect. I'm gonna try to go there this tuesday with a bunch of my other car friends that usually come with me. If it turns out shitty, I'm just gonna go inside and have a few drinks then leave.

Thanks for clearing it up, however I don't see much harm in asking about the estimated power of a car. I often wonder how my car would compare to someone elses with no intention of ever racing. I mostly wonder how quick a car is just to get an idea of the kind of improvments someone gets outta all the work they did to their car compared to how much work I've put into mine. This is mostly to gauge who has done more effective work on their cars. Also, I wouldn't mind giving power numbers, but the only thing I have to go on is DSMlink and a comparison against cars with a known power number. And also to mention that I will not be driving this car for a long time except just to go to any possible car meets in which I wouldn't participate in any racing, I think it would be ok for me to say that I've gone up against a friends 345+whp(was dynoed, then added more mods) trans am and won. I think that is more than fair enough, but tell me if you disagree. The way I see it, I could be stating that my car makes 600hp and can beat ferrari's etc etc but if I refuse to race anyone, what harm can come from what is said? I am very responsible and wouldn't egg someone to race for any reason.

Sorry, maybe I came off wrong. I'm glad you're responsible and I"m sure on a day to day basis street racing and such isn't really happening. The point I'm trying to make is that just because you and your circumstances permit you to say (and probably did) beat a 350 rwhp transam, isn't necessarily a good thing to post up on the internet. The reason why it's not a good thing is that somebody might take it the wrong way and just because they have a similar setup, does not always mean that they too can beat 350 rwhp transams. Posting that "i beat such and such" always ends up with negative results by somebody. I don't say this because it is the rules, I've seen it happen over and over and over again, so it's best not to talk about "i beat xxx car" at all on the internaweb.

OK, I gotcha. Glad that this didn't turn into an arguement. What you say makes sense. I'm sure we can find a good compromise that would be "internet safe". BTW, I'm pretty sure I saw your car a little while back at the red robins meet. I loved the clear timing belt cover you have, looked a lot better than I thought it would. :thumb:

Well i dont think your going out there this tuesday. It will be christmas and not many people go out. and just to clear things up, i was not trying to race such in such. i was just wondering. it is cool to hear about other peoples dsm's. these cars are becoming very rare, so to hear one going 11's or 12's in the 1/4 mile is just cool to hear about. all you guys have some nice looking dsm's i might add. good luck with them.

Haha, oh yea. I guess it'll be another week that I don't drive my car. Thanks for the comments, but you will always have the best feature of all - AWD.

Edison is only about 5-10min away from me and the meet is about 10-15 min away from me, so no more than about 20 min I'd say, assuming you can't hop directly onto the highway from Edison.
