New to the world of DSM-90 Laser RSTURBO, any suggestions?

What up everyone, just picked up my 1990 Plymouth Laser RS-Turbo the other day, and I'm just trying to gather all this info at once. Any good ideas for speed/performance for a low budget? Any suggestions would be great.
Get this, car came with:
-107k original miles
-New motor with 40k on it
-New clutch
-New tranny
-New paintjob
-Exhaust
-Intake
Mint interior... not a bad deal for 2g's huh?

Any driving technique tips are appreciated too, my father kinda sorta owns a drag strip (New York International Raceway Park) outside of Rochester, NY, so I can play whenever I want to If you have any tips, wanna talk, or want some free tix to the track (or meet up there), drop me a line!

check the forums they will help you alot i think track talk is for racing prep questions. as for modding go to the tuning guide. will give you a step by step mod list for what kind of power you want. and you are a lucky one because you get to practice your skills on a strip whenever you want instead of on the street. oh and welcome to the site its a fun bunch if you stay on people good side.

And as was said, tuning guide on the first page is excellent path. Otherwise you can spend tons of $ and still be slow.
