I am starting a new project it is a all original Galant VR4 that has been sitting in a garage for aleast 10 years. The car was parked after the timming belt pop and put a hole in one of the pistons . So now it starts a new life with me. My goal is to make a sleeper with only Mitsubishi bolt-on parts.

In the tear down so far I have discovered that the turbo was frozen. So now I get to spend some money I figured I buy the EVO 3 16g and O2 housing.
I want the best flowing exhaust manifold, that I can bolt the factory heat sheild to with little to no modification.

The injector size is not inportant because the ECU will be chipped. I will using a 190 fuel pump as not to over run the Mitsu fuel preasure regulator, or could I us the 255(will not be hot wired).

The block went to machine shop yesterday will find out what size pistons I need to buy today.

Is there a better Mitsu fuel presure regulator that I can bolt-on?

Is the other Mitsu parts that will bolt on and look factory that I am missing?

I have a 90 throttle body.

Why do you NOT want to hardwire the fuel pump???? That should be done with anything from the stock to a 190 or a 255HP, etc. It is done to maintain constant voltage to your fuel pump, and is an important thing to do to anyone's setup when running a drop in pump.

Heck, I ran 880's on my S-AFC with a stock FPR. You are only looking to run a 16G, there is no need to upgrade your FPR. Just go with a set of 680 or 780cc injectors, a walboro 255HP hardwired, and a S-AFC. With the use of a wideband, you should have no problem getting your AFR's nice and stable.

Are you intending on upgrading to a larger intercooler??? I would reccomend that -- if you want to stay "mitsu", look for a J-spec core from an evo or a GVR-4 or do the smart thing and pick up a PTE small IC core with cast tanks, then anodize it black. Make 2.25" IC pipes painted black -- soft pipes suck, and if you are a good fabricator they will look like they belong there.

You could also budget stroker 2.3L setup since you are doing the motor currently.

As for exhaust manifolds, you are going to see decent numbers from the 2G manifold ported, an Evo 3 manifold ported, a SBR cast Manifold, etc. and a 2G or Evo 3 ported O2 housing.

Run a 2G MAF with a 2G intake pipe "modified" by taking out the accordian section.

You are right about the voltage, but what also happens is the fuel preasure rises also almost 10 psi at idle with the stock regulator(I know I have done it on my other cars). That is not a big deal but it bring me to my other point.

I don't want to run any aftermarket/piggy back CPU. Will work with in the bounderies of the rising rate voltage on the fuel pump. witch will dectate the amount of boost I will be use.

I tried a couple of importer on Ebay that have the J-spec motor and intercooler but they would not separate. One have relisted it 4 times and still will not sell. Will look into somthing custom.

Not a option already have a race car. Want somthing I can let the son drive to school.

Which exhaust manifold would you say flowed the best with out porting. I forgot I bought a Evo 3 O2 housing when I bought the turbo.
