Hey Tuners! We have made a new product for you guys and pre order is live on our website!

The AF 2G spare tire well delete pannel is made from .090 Aluminum sheet, is CNC waterjet cut and has the factory plastic film for a fresh look after the end user peels it up.

•*1/4” dry carbon fiber material will soon be an option in the near future*

•Bolts to oem locations using two Bolts and 5 screws

•can be used if you have cut out your spare tire well, or if you haven’t.

•Creates a solid surface for your groceries or whatever over the flimsy cardboard cover which also requires the spare tire to support it. This panel takes care of that issue.

Why Would i delete your spare tire well?
    •weight savings
•easier access to rear diff and Sway bar
•makes space for a fuel cell
    •looks cleaner
•cutting your spare tire well out is not required to use this panel but some tabs will need to be removed for the panel to sit flush

We have had this pre order going on for a week now on instagram, and were origionally having a pre order list of 10 spots, which have currently been filled, so I decided to open it up to a larger first batch for who ever wants to get in on it. I have test fit the first one, and had some revisions on the bolt holes to be ovaled to give some play for an easier installation, I will be test fitting the revised template tomorrow (Tuesday nov 5th) and will have the first batch cut shortly after. Once they are cut they will ship and will be readily available on the website and ship within 1 week I will keep this thread updated about the cut and fitment process. Here are some pictures of the panel.

    *Disclaimer*
While most of the factory plastic interior panels do fit, the very rear plastic panel may need to be shaved at the bottom to clip in due to the slight hight difference from the trunk floor to the panel (.090”) otherwise this is a 100% bolt in affair for drag cars or cars without trunk interior plastics.

    Link to pre order below!

What is the weight of the finished product versus the weight of the tire well that gets cut out? If you happen to know?

I can weigh the new panels once they are cut for production, but i don't know the weight of the tire well metal that is cut out, I did mine years ago and have since sold the car, but if anyone is cutting it out feel free to post up the weight of what you cut and we can compare. Also a dry carbon sheet will be an option soon as well!

Now this is what we need, products that nobody else makes!!! Thank you.
I don't want to cause an argument but I am so sick and tired of company's only making exhaust manifolds.

I will be ordering this soon. Thanks!

I removed my spare tire well and made a plate a few years ago. I don't remember for sure how thick of aluminum sheet I used for mine but I think it may have been .090 like these, it was at least close. In the pictures are the weights I found if anyone is interested. Looks like around 9 lbs saved. It definitely needs some kind of foam or sealant to keep the plate from rattling and to seal the inside of the car from the elements as a heads up for those of you installing a delete plate like this.

The one I have on a local customers car does not rattle at all, it’s bolted down from all sides, but on the off chance one of these does. Simple weather stripping would work fine

Yep, that's exactly what I did. $5-10 and no chance of a rattle ever.

Are these thick enough to mount a battery on to pass tech at tracks? What are people doing with their washer tank?

If you are not cutting out the well. You can probably keep it there, delete it, or relocate it. the plate just needs to sit flush on the trunk floor above the spare tire well. Any brackets for the jack or spare tire would need to be cut down a bit if they interfere with the plate sitting flush on the trunk floor.

as for your battery mounting, you can put it on one of the frame rail sides. I’m not sure what the tech requirements are for rear mounted batteries.

the pannel is .090” thick though (little under 1/8”)

Hey everyone! The Test fit of the second template revision happened and only 2 bolt holes need to be widened/ ovaled the rest are spot on! I want to make this a hassle free install for everyone. Revision 3 template will be cut Monday and test fit again as soon as possible. We are so close! 68FB2D7A-679A-4BB7-9B44-0F33A5A2973A.jpeg A7CE111E-AB14-4446-A74B-05A8ACAAF610.jpeg

I mount my rear section of my exhaust on my one thats from FF and it flexes but keeps it shape and does not ripple in anyway, also i relocated my washer bottle in the rear side of the trunk with a small 2liter unit
