New owner in Colorado!!!

hey guys!

i just bought another DSM after 2 years!

she's a 94 talon tsi w/ only 66,000 miles!!!
i had a 92 talon (n/t) as my first car, and it got stolen 2 years ago, so ive been looking, and finally found the perfect replacement...
payed too much, but im never gonna sell her, so its worth it...
she is being shipped from jacksonville as we speak, and should be here next fri/sat...

im a member over on bimmerforums.com, and i have gotten so much info from other users, so i thought that i would join a DSM forum...

anyways, anybody in FOCO???

I'm actually in alaska right now but I'll be moving to Col. Springs in a year. I've lived there for a few years before AK and I love it there. I just bought my first DSM 4 months ago with a blow motor and I'm in the process of building the motor for my 2nd time (1st time I got piston slap). In a year I'm sure we'll run into each other. I hope your DSM is in great condition!

I'm in Littleton and i've only been to one meet but everybody is pretty cool so far. Gotta get one of my cars up and running here soon so maybe i'll see you at a meet?

Welcome back man. I know how you feel with missing the dsm. I got rid of my first GSX and then 6 months later bought a TSi AWD, then got rid of that and 4 months later was just dying without my dsm so i went and bought my current GSX Anyways, welcome back and i've seen quite a few members on here in the fort collins and denver areas. Good luck in your new dsm adventures.

i cant wait to driver her around horestooth...

we have some every now and then with the bmw's, and those are always fun...

he had a brand new z06, jaguar xjr, 2 benz, 2 tt's on board, but my talon was the best looking car by far!

"off topic" types of posts don't add to your post count, you have to have "valid" posts in other places on the forums. I'm not sure how many posts you have to have before you can have an avatar, I've forgotten, I imagine it's in some "FAQ" area around here. Or maybe Luda or l33t --> would fill us in, and not by saying "use the search feature, it's hot."

There are some pretty neat DSM guys in the Fort. They used to hang around CSUCarClub.com, I'm not sure what the status is on that these days. Herostar and Laguna739 or something on Tooooners live in Fort Collins, so does Mitch (Loveland maybe.) Good luck. Welcome!

Duh! From what I hear Colorado is fairly cheap to live in. Rent next year for a studio will blow. I always thought those days would come, then it did-- "POW! Right in the kisser."
