For those of you who remember the previous thread (and those that didn't believe my car made 367 RWHP), I thought I'd share the latest:

Now that the car is broken in (5,600 miles), I still have the Flowmaster catback, but have added a 9" open element filter...

Basically 400 RWHP with the stock motor (stock pulley, stock MAF, stock intake, stock throttlebody, stock tune, stock headers, stock catted H-pipe). My car is not, by any means, the strongest intake and exhaust '03 out there, I just thought I'd share.

Wow, I don't really care.

This is DSMtuners.com, not lookatmyV8thatispushing400hp.com

You probably came here to tell us this because all the V8 forums probably laughed at you.

Why are you acting like an ass?

Those are fantastic numbers, and remember, anyone is welcome here.

LOL..there was a mustang at the burnout contest today at carlisle and it got boo'd out of the pit..even though it was a good one everyone has so much hatred towards crustangs that they boo'd him out..it was quite funny..

I love Mustangs. If I were ever to sell my car, I would own a stang. I dont care what anybody says, the mustang has the best sounding exhaust note anywhere.

Nice numbers dude, thats killer to see almost 400whp with cheap-o bolt ons.. Must be an amazing ride...

wow.. u have a valid point there.. LOL.. never looked at it that way.. but he's in for it if doesn't know wassup :)

and this seems like his very first post.. interesting.. just makes u more valid haha..

Exactly. It's time to grow up guys. I know it's like the pot calling the kettle black, but it's that time. Let's show this guy that we all aren't complete elitist pricks.

I've had my battles with peregine, but when talking to him, he's much wiser than me, and he's someone on the board I have great respect for. He's right guys, bashing someone who has double your horsepower isn't cool, or smart. Let's make this a friendly place now.

aaahhhhh. i love you john:) anyway, bashing for no reason is lame. really lame. respect the power.

Agreed, we would be turning into the rednecks that bash us when we go over and add input to topics about our cars that they started, or ones that we started. We are better then that. Anyhow, good numbers, but I bet you still have that IRS, so plantining it must be kinda hard, I hate to see what your gonna do when your making well over 500hp.

If you took the time to look, you'd see that I registered back in September 2002, and this is hardly my first post. I'm a Moderator at SVTPerformance.com and I came to this site when the naysayers were disputing the 350-375 RWHP numbers on the new Cobra, stock from the factory. We've got several DSM owners on our board (and former owners that are now driving Lightnings and Cobras), and don't cloister ourselves into a world that "our cars" are the be-all-and-end-all of the enthusiast world. If you go back and find that locked thread (locked because of bickering between DSM owners) I gave props to the DSM cars and AWD performance, in general. You'd also find that I'm a fan of ALL forced induction, unless your car is covered in stickers and a picnic bench sized wing (and Vin Diesel is your idol, LOL...).

As for numbers, with a 1.9 60' I should run a 12.5 @ 112-114. Trap is more impressive than E.T. because the car is a pig at 3,600 lbs... Catch me on a roll and I'll do better :D Currently, I can roast the tires on a 45MPH punch in second and bark them on a 80MPH punch, in third (and it pulls like a banshee).

Impressive. But still this is DSMtuners.com...
Thanks for the props, but I did post in the "Hangout", eh? Do you have NO interest in seeing what is going on in the world outside of DSM? If not, and that's the majority opinion on this board, just let me know and I'll cancel my account. I, for one, like to keep an eye on the "competition". Speaking of, those that commented that I'm here to brag about being able whip any 4-cylinder...you are sorely mistaken. I think I know "wasssup"...

Exactly its a supercharged V8 the only group that finds that impressive are those who have been held hostage by 4.6L mustangs since 96. No one cares supercharged v8 HP major accomplishment:rolleyes:

This has to be the stupidest thing I have ever seen. I didn't even read the whole thread and I'm not going too. Blue03cobra, very nice numbers :thumb:.

To the guys bashing, grow up. Especially f you own a n/t ;)

I guess I can accept the validity of posting this american automobile bragging session. Post some pics so we can see this wicked machine.

Nice.

If only the interior on these cars were better, I would probably buy one.

It's a shame to think DSM owners have gotten their heads enlarged so much, that they think they have a chance at beating this car. There are probably only 4-5 people on this site that could take this car.
