alright so im a 2g eclipse guy love the way they look but lately I have really been liking the 1g Tsi's i was just wondering which year is the best 93 in my opinion look the best. but which one is the best like mechanically and stuff. just looking for some opinions. thanks

93 is a good year just make sure you ready do do a motor swap ### stock 93s come with 7 bolt motors. I love mine

Late '91- Early '92

Late '91 you get:
None of that BS '90 wiring and specific sensors and transmission weirdness
Crazy sexy popup headlights
6-bolt engine
You can swap in a 4-bolt rear for cheap since the '91's didn't come with them.

Early '92 you get:
6 bolt engine
4 bolt rear
First year for fixed headlights
Updated rear tail lights
Everything else is the same as '91

BTW, don't shy away from getting a '93 just because it comes with a 7-bolt. The 1g 7-bolts are crazy strong in their own right, anyway.

Dont think anyone could come up with an answer better than ProjectGS but yeah I would try to stay away from the '90 because they are weird and some dealers dont even deal with them. Otherwise depends on what you like more. The less-dated but very sexy look of 1gb or a pure mean look of a 1ga. whichever one works. glad to see you getting out of the 2g bumper car scene
