Hey Guys, well i have a big big problem  my block has a crack in the back of it. I didn't know it until the car didnt go over 4K RPM. I asked you guys what it was, and i got some good answers, and it went over 4K sometimes, but now i found it was due to my block having a crack in it. So im going to get a new engine, and i don't know what i should go with i mean should i just go with the same engine i had the 2.0 DOHC N/T 420a or should i swap it with something else. I'm really really lost. I mean my engine bay now is empty i took the whole engine out there is nothing not even the tires, axles, transmission, nor the wiring harness of the vehicle. If i could get some suggestions that would be really great thanks alot, and yea i don't want something that is impossible. :(

Thanks alot for the quick post :thumb:. Yea i don't want to do alot of fabricating because i love how my car looks, and how it "ran" hehe. Thanks for the opinion

dude since u have a 99 i would think u would have low miles so just get a shortblock that has already had work to it. I think i seen one on ebay for like 600 built! yeah your looks are ok but dont u wanna have some speed its just looking at it like this u mess your front bumper but u dont have any money! u need to paint it so do u save a bit and buy a kit or just get a normal front :thumb: plz for all of us just get some speed

hehe hey i used to beat "mustangs" and "hondas" i was ok with that ;) , but get a short block so i can fit all of my parts from the old one right because all that is cracked is my block.

for sure get a short block. you could get one from howell for like $2000.... not sure how much money you have... but if you ever wanna go turbo go with 8.6 comp, otherwise, go 10.5, put in some ss valves, and run a HEFTY shot of nitrous at the track :thumb:

Well right now i can spend only 1400 because thats how much i got from my tax return so i wont be able to turbocharge until like November when i get my bonus. I was planning to turbocharge my old engine on this tax return but i guess god doesn't want my car to be fast ???? I don't know but yea im about to go check out the Short Blocks that you guys where talking about thanks. :thumb:
