Now before I get flamed, just hear me out. I have a auto tranny, the other day I took it to redline while spankin a civic, (7k in the 1st 3 gears). The next day I realized that if I put it in D it wouldn’t go anywhere. I didn’t drive it, a couple of days later I put it in reverse and it went, I put it in drive it held for a sec but then it went. I took it to Mitsu and they said it is “internal damage” and it would be cheaper to put a new tranny in. But it costs 2900k and he said a manual swap would be more expensive, my questions r:

a) is it cheaper to swap it out to manual
b) is my tranny gone?

Please help me, thanks
