need help with POS car!

I have a rod knock with only 500mi on rebuilt motor! I want to go with Slowboy racing's short block. What kind of problems am I going to run into trying to swap a 1g 6-bolt into my 1g 7-bolt? What would I have to change?

although im sure im wrong since i dont know much about the deference's in the 6 and 7 bolts I dont realy think there should be any problems, to my knowlage the same electronics are used on both, same ECU, same sensors etc.

but like i said i dont know alot about the deference's so dont trust my speculateing words

last time I checked you couldnt just drop a 6 bolt crank into a 7 bolt block.

My real questions are: Can my head fit on a 6-bolt block, even though when I bought arps they were different thread sizes? Will my transmission bolt up? things like that.

Im not sure about the head, but the tranny should bolt to the block, just make sure you have the right flywheel/clutch combo

You should do a search on the subject there are some posts about this. Also i think that you won't have any problem with the head mounting to the block i believe and the tranny will bolt right up. I believe that there are some things that have to be changed over but can't recall what. Like i said do a search and there should be plenty of info. Good luck
