Okay, This may be hard to read but i will try my best.
My friend has a 94' plymouth laser 2.0 n/t auto. The tranny in it went out, so he got another tranny to put in it. Eveything bolted up perfectly until he went to put the axles in. The shaft on the cv joints that goes into the tranny are to long for the new tranny. the new tranny takes a cv joint with about a 1/4inch or so shorter shaft. further more the tripod in the axles are to big for the cv joints that were on the new tranny, so he cannot just switch the cv joints.
If anyone has an idea of what to do please let me know. he has been messing with this for a couple of weeks. and the guy he got the tranny from isn't sure what it came out of. i told him to find out what else has the same tranny in it but he has not come up with anything and i don't know. please any help would be appreciated.
thanks
patrick
