Need clutch suggestions for 1995 GSX

I have a 1995 GSX Eclipse and would like to replace the clutch in it.
The car is stock. I plan to buy a clutch kit online and have a mechanic do the install.

Any clutch suggestions would be appreciated.

Well if your modding the car..but not heavily and don't want a stiff clutch but one that still holds I would go with the ACT 2100...

my clutch just decided to slip like a mofo at almost 60,000 miles. If i push down on the gas pedal to hard the RPM's fly up and the speedometer just chills there, and i get to smell that lovely aroma of burnt clutch. So i ordered the Centerforce Dual Friction HD Ballbearing clutch from Road engineering for $375. Most DSM'ers swear up and down on ACT being the best there is, but there are horror stories of ACT's eating up stock trannies, plus the Centerforce has close to stock pedal feel while still being able to handle 2500 lbs

if the car is stock and you don't plan on modifying it all that much, go with a stock strength clutch & pressure plate. i replaced mine with a stocker cause it would have been overkill to put a heavy duty clutch on my next to stock motor (filter), saved a couple hundred dollars. but if you plan on modifying it in the future, it might be best to go with a 2100 or similar.

Hmm I don't remember saying I swear up and down it...also I said ACT 2100

Hmm I don't remember ever saying that YOU in particualr did say that. I think i said "Most DSM'ers" and i was simply giving my opinion on clutches
