2G Name that connection/sensor thingy

Its time to play everyone favorite game NAME THAT SENSOR!

okay so i found this sensor dangling around the top of the transmission Near the neutral cable (Auto)

and i cant figure out for the life of me what this sensor or THING is. any insight? cant seem to find it on any list

That looks more like a relay than a sensor.

Def. A relay. I was looking at that same one earlier today when i was checking things. Is any wiring coming out the other side?

do you think its the fan relay? because the P/O put a slim fan and aftermarket fans in with switches to control them

It's the alternator or generator relay.

As much fun as this game is, it is getting old for this particular item: Everyones favorite game. Name that plug!
