Ok, so I posted a thread about how bummed I am, but now this brings much light to my situation!
This is the 20G off of Mike Welch's car himself. For those of you who don't know, Mike is the owner or Road///Race Engineering. However, he gave me a brand new center cartige, so that I basically have a brand new turbo.

The specs:
20G
TDO5H clipped 25degrees
Welded 2 1/4" 90 degree elbow
Everything ported to match perfectly a ported Evo Manifold
34mm WG flapper (yeah, I know, its internal, but I'm over it)

So yeah, here are some pics, and this is my new toy.....:D

so yea tonight was badass....mike at road race is like really awesome. i just dont know what to say?

brian forgot to mention that mike said theres no need for an external gate. the only perk of it is being able to change springs for different boost levels.

all you guys that think it doesnt work or something = owned.

however i think the TD05 is kinda small :) but we will see how it does

hey, nice turbo. I bet you MIKE was cryin when he let his turbo go, hehe
Good job man, you wont regret it and you'll be kissin my feet for  :p convincin you to get a 20g

Nah, he wasnt crying cause his car isnt even running right now. And he is happy cause he is getting something bigger

I dunno about that kissing the feet thing, it was Mike (both sidoze and RRE Mike) who did most of the convincing ;) but you are still da man!

uh...looks big...You need to take me for a ride in it when it's done...I need something to compare against the T-25 :-\
Peace out Brian

For sure Anthony! However, I dont think there will be much to compare. Mike at RRE said that the 20G at 8psi is a big improvement over the T25 at 17psi. But, yeah, I'll take you for a ride the next time we meet up  (speaking of that, its been too long, we need to get another meet going)

OK everyone, I know this thred kinda died, but I just thought I would give you an update. I now have the turbo installed, the profec-b and the afc all somewhat tuned and the car is running GREAT! The top end on this turbo is absolutely amazing! I know that its not 57trim or anything, but it feels damn good. I beat a Porsche 911 on the freeway :) and I kept with an M5 for a while until about 120ish when his top end just ate me up. Not to mention the stock smic was killing me and the governor shut me off at 135 :(

Around town, its not too laggy. Esp when I am at anything above 3k, it feels GREAT! But when I am at low RPM's (2500 or less) its guttless. The turbo bulls like a raped ape all the way until 7500rpms. It loves topend! The only problem I have had with this setup is that I had some boost creep issues because its internally gates and I didnt have a cat. Now I DO have an external dump, but with the N1 DP, I was still creeping. What I did was throw the stock DP and cat on and that fixed my problem. So what I am doing in a little bit is I am having a cat welded onto my N1 DP and hopefully that extra backpressure will keep the creep away :)

If you guys have any more questions either ask here or PM me :)

Brian
