Looks good man i really like it.
Thanks Vic! Got the hubs bolted down this morning before I left the house

Gonna try to shoot for tomorrow to toss these things back on the car.

They’re on!

Ran into a couple snags though… can’t find the bolts for the axles and I need to lug nuts for the 18s so I can bolt them down. Already ordered new bolts from extremepsi. Just got to figure out lug nuts. Super easy install otherwise.

Once I get the back finalized I’ll be jacking the front up to get the front studs put in, finish wiring up the bottle heater and I still want to move my post pump filter.

Small weekend update:

Axle bolts came in and got those installed. Also started working on getting the front wheel studs in. Ran into a little hiccup when opening the drivers door. One of the body molding clips mounts broke and let the molding catch the door on the fender pushing it in. On the hunt to find replacements for those

Was told the front studs would be the hardest. These were easier than the rears were.

Got to find some Of these guys.

Rain kind of put a halt on working on the car more. Going to get a date setup to take the car to get an alignment then it should be ready to rip again.

Wish you would get that thing back together. There’s a ton of work that’s already been done. Still a ton to go
Soon! Real soon I get to get back to it, life’s been busy but haven’t forgotten. As soon as my Crown Vic rolls outta the garage with the intake manifold and front brakes done and I get my truck put away for the winter in southern Ohio I’m full bore on the DSM. Goal is to have an assembled engine on the stand by Christmas, and of course I have brand new non turbo pistons pressed on rods ready to go in the new block sitting here all freshly machined.

Ready to see it back out. Hoping to have the engine harness in the car by the end of the month and starting the wiring.

So I guess I’ll toss some progress pics up of what I have so far:

So I was having some electrical issues once I got the suspension back together. I checked everything and seemed to be ignition box related. So instead of dwelling on it I pulled the trigger on the fueltech stuff. Started by acquiring sensors and connectors to get the wiring started.

I then sourced the dash piece to mount the fueltech and wideband. Also wanted to have turn signal and high beam indicators when we were on the street with the car.

Some of the sensors going into monitoring things on the car. Still have a couple to put in.

Here is how I did my back pressure sensor.

Next thing is to pull the timing stuff and get the crank trigger kit installed. Got a few more sensors and things to mount up and then it’s time to start wiring things

I’m curious to see how you like Fuel Tech, I keep seeing nothing but good from those who use it. Seems to be pretty involved but well worth it once together, plus I absolutely love the ECU itself is a dash display

The ecu being the dash is what sold me honestly LOL that and the trans control is pretty awesome. Going to be odd not shifting the car tho.

Weekend update:

Got a few more parts in to keep things moving.

And then things took a turn. Started to pull the belt side apart to get the crank trigger installed and new timing components installed. Last bolt holding the water pump pulley rounded off….

Decided that I would
Just get an evospec water pump pulley and call it done. Also got a couple more wire colors ordered in so I can color code my 12v wires to make it easier to trace. I’ll post more once my other parts get here.

regardless, what is the fascination with these type things. The stock parts work excelent, are compact, and easy to remove and plug the extra ports. This looks like a nightmare of adapters on adapters adapters..
