Hey all, just thought i would share my experience with the Saleen company yesturday. Well my co worker and i headed off to Thousand Oaks (approx. 20-30 min drive) to go pick up a BMW Z4 so we can research it for my company. Anyways, we picked it up and headed off to Irvine ((3-4 hour drive) to go visit Saleen because I am working on a wiring harness for them and i needed to verify some wires and other stuff. Well the whole ride down there we had the top of the Z4 down and just crusin and checkin out the hoes. So, when we get there the first thing i see is 4-5 Saleen Mustangs, 1 Saleen Contour, and the Saleen car that is used for La Mans racing. I was like 
, anyways on the other side of these mustangs are some Saleen versions of the Ford Focus Hatchback. This thing looked ricey but i would still drive it.
We go inside of the office to meet up with the guys that we had to, and they wanted us to go check out the progress of the project we are working on. So they take us into the factory where I see the ever so beautiful Saleen S7. And there are different rooms inside this factory, each room is dedicated to certain peices of the S7.(room one-engine, room two-frame, room three-body panels) There were like 10-15 different rooms. I actually witnessed some of the workers putting together the front end of an S7.
Well we took care of our business and the guys were showing us the exit to the building and he took us by the tuning area and there were 04 Saleen Mustangs everywhere, a few Saleen Focus's, and i creamed my pants when i saw an 05 Mustang. The wouldnt allow me to take pictures, so unfortunatly i cant share the excitement. I was also very suprised at how clean the whole building was. Even the areas where they were assemblying the cars was spotless. Ok guys that is all for today.
Oh and about the Z4, it is a nice car. Rich girls check you out alot in it, but the performance was disappointing. Still fast, but I guess I am just a sucker for my turbo talon.
