My car is dead, can you help me install a better stereo in it?

I'm sorry, but it seems that some folks have their priorities a wee bit off. One guy is asking for help with his body kit, and he owns a Turbo-kit that isn't installed yet. Another is concerned about how the shocks will bolt onto an AWD swap. People, let's all take a collective moment to refocus our energy towards tuning. I will take the first step.

Since my car is not running (head gasket), I will not concern myself with a body kit. I need to pull the head, so I will not worry about the valve-cover from a 420A bolting onto my car at this point.

That was simple. We all need to do this.

i dont see what difference it makes. People come here for help. If they want help fixing their stereo instead of having a running car does it really matter? I just dont see how this can bother you.

agreed. this goes along the lines of the people asking for advice on what "major mods " they should do when cashflow = $0.

I would have to humbly disagree. I think that a person has the right to do to their car whatever they want in whatever order they want to do it in. Its their money and their time to spend on their car. Who are we to tell them what their priorities should be. Just my two cents.

yeah the guy above me is right. I completely agree. If i want to have a competition stereo in my car that doesnt run then why should you tell me not to? So your saying if i need to know where a good place to put the ground wire is your not gonna tell me because my car isnt running and i should be fixing that first?

True that people should be free to exhibit whatever kind of behaviour they care to, regardless of how odd it may seem to others. And, with the help of the internet, you can have anyone in the world who clicks on your link find out just how odd you are.
