I pick up this 5 spd 92 AWD about 2 weeks ago. It's in pretty good shape for being almost 20 years old now. Interior is mint. Anyway, it has a mild 16g setup with some fuel and a front mount with DSM link. It definitely runs pretty good for a street setup but you can never have enough power. I've had some parts laying around that I've been waiting to put to use and this is the opportunity since the car has a built motor.

I bought this twin scroll manifold from Punishment Racing a few months back and its just been collecting dust since. I'm very please with their work and would recommend anybody to go to them if they're wanting a very nice quality piece.

Attached to ^ that manifold will be my 3582r that has also been collecting dust. This is just the setup on a buddy's spare motor.

And finally here is a pic of the setup actually on my motor :hellyeah:

I'm also going through the engine bay while everything is somewhat accessable and cleaning/painting parts. Here's my valve cover that I just did. It went from ^ that picture above to this..

I'll have more updates soon along with more pictures. Thanks for looking fellas :)

Thanks a lot man I appreciate it. Today I took off the driver side motor mount and power steering bracket to hack them up, bead blast, and paint them. they turned out real nice and I'll be putting it back together tomorrow. I'll get a pic of it all together with the valve cover installed and post it.

Well I got the new motor mount and power steering bracket back on this morning. I still have quite a bit of stuff I'd like to take off and clean up, along with degreasing the engine bay. Here's a pic of the car how it sits as of this morning. Any comments or advice is appreciated.

it's Sherwin Williams paint. the color is Ultra Violet from a 95-96 Ford.

Thats a great looking valve cover. I know this is going to sound noobish LOL but I am new to the game. Did you just spray the vc and then put a clear coat on it? Im just asking becasue I like that glossy finish and I want to do mine exactly like that only red to match my car.

Thanks for.the compliments guys. It keeps me going on projects like this. The valve cover I bead blasted, cleaned it, 2 coats of primer, cleaned it with wax and grease remover, laid down 2 coats of base and 2 coats of clear. Ill start doing them for people if I can get enough people interested.

My wastegates came. Packaged real nice and look like great quality pieces. I just couldn't put something so dull in my engine bay. They came looking like this..

So I took them apart, cleaned them, prepped and painted them.

Progress is kinda slow right now because I'm waiting on an exhaust to be fabbed up to run the 35r. It should be done within a week or so. Thanks for looking fellas :thumb:

Thanks again guys! The paint is the same as I used on the valve cover. I guess we'll see what happens. Even if it happens to come back off, I can always send then to my buddy's for powder coating. I'm not too worried about it as I've used the same brand of paint on other projects in an engine bay which get very hot and its still holding up. Like I said though, we'll see.

Exhaust is all tacked up. Just have to get the dump tubes made then this turd is going to be put to good use.

Nice, is it daily or street capable with twin scroll set up? I was possibly interested in purchasing the car. I seen your classified ad. Also what is the car going to be tuned on?

Thanks for the compliments fellas. The car is going to be a street/strip car. It's just a toy. We got the exhaust finished and all welded up. Now I just have to find time to install everything. Here's a teaser :p
