i was looking today, and the cam "melted" in the head and there is peices of the cam on the head thats like melted to it. so i'm gonna have to have a new head, and while i'm getting a new one i mind as well get one thats ported and polished with valves, cams (stock), gears, lifters, etc. how much would one like this run me, i found one on ebay for $255, is that a normal price or should i jump on that one?
i need help, i'm on a low budget and i need to get this car running, i'm so exicited to have a turbo talon but it dont run . i'm also getting the rebuild kit from MachV so if there is any piston damage that will be taken care of.
Also someone told me today that if i put new pistons in it i'll have to bore the block, is this true or can i put stock size pistons in it.
And one last thing, when the belt broke/cam locked up which ever happened, could it have damage the block? if so how will i tell?
