Seems like the knock is just from too much timing. Where it has 13 counts of knock if there was no knock you would be running about 24-26º of timing if it kept ramping up like it did at least. How much boost you running and what AFR's?

Then again, stock 1G timing table is pretty aggressive.

I'm running 15 lbs but I do creep so it was around 17-18 when I got the 13 and 14 counts of knock. I also do not have a wide and at the moment but will be getting one as soon as possible.

You definitely need to get one A.S.A.P. Can you log o2 voltage on that? At least that'll give you an idea of what range your AFR's are in...

I know I really need one soon. I can monitor the voltage, let me check if I did that time.

Ok, I just did another log and here's what it says, I got crazy knock too...

Rpm 4156. Rpm 4031
Injector duty 73.4. InjD 68.7
Knock 28!!! Knock 23!!
O2-.82. O2- .82
Timing 8 degrees. Timing 14
Injector pulse 21.2ms. Injp 20.4
EGT- 192 Egt 242

Starting at 2000 Rpms-4300ish and I didn't have any knock until I jumped up to 23 counts

Back in the day when people used to tune without widebands it was a bit popular to tune using Front o2 voltage. Now, while I don't support this, at least you have an idea if you are running leaner or richer than you should.

"O2 voltage is in the .85-.88 range for 1G pistons
or .92-.94 range for 2G pistons"

This is about the o2 voltage you would want. The lower the voltage the leaner, meaning if you are running .80v you are considerably leaner than you should be. Now lean AFR's coupled with a lot of timing and that could easily be your issue with so much knock. Wait till you at least get a wideband to see what it's really doing before you get back on the gas hard, and then something to tune with so you can address that issue.

Alright thank you very much! I've tried solving the problem by turning the boost down but ill probably put a line straight from the wastegate to the j-pipe. I've been having a bad spiking problem lately after my intake.

Yes for now just stay away from going WOT. Engine management is key to a DSM if you are modding it dude, one of the best investments ever. Any idea what you are going to get?

I definitely can't get dsm link anytime soon since I'm broke as hell. I was thinking Safc, since I'm not looking for insane power goals anytime soon. Maybe 300hp
