mix match evo8 and evo9 pistons?

can I used evo8 and evo9 pistons together? reason is that i bought a set of used evo8 piston, but 1 of them has cracked on the skirt. found an evo9 for cheap and wondering if I can used both together? also can i used evo8 rings with evo9?

I'd never use used pistons and rings in an engine build. To me that's asking for trouble. The used pistons are worn into the bore of the engine they came out of. Your engine's bore won't be exactly the same. Take your block to a machine shop, have them measure the bores and then order pistons according to what they say. Chances are you'll need .020" over pistons.
