Missing Coolant

For the past month I've been having problem with my car losing coolant. I see no leak anywhere, coolant isn't going to the oil. I also changed the radiator cap thinking it might be that. I only have this issue when my car is being used. If my car hasn't been used all coolant is there. But if I use it around town (for less than 10-15mins) I lose around 8 or less ounces. Not so much but I don't want to risk using it to take it to work. Can someone have any thought what it might be? thanks

usual bit of smoke when start up from my valve seals, other than that nothing is wrong with it.

could be a number of things. try driving it untill it warms up. then leave it parked in your driveway while running, and check in the hood and underneith for leaks. maybe even have someone put the rps up a little.
could be..
-loose fittings
-old hoses
-HG leak :S
-rad connections
-coolant resivour
just check that everything is tight and secured.

I had the exact same problem a few months ago. Turns out it was coolant coming out of the weep hole on the water pump while the engine was running. The water was dripping onto the sub frame so I could never see it leaking on the pavement.

^ that's the reason I changed my water pumps several months before. When I made the replacement, I didn't have coolant leaking. After I stopped using my car for about a month this crap started happening. I think my car does this on purpose, she doesn't like my blue bike.
