Hello, for a while now I've been having this issue and have finally decided to look into it. The hesitating is more noticeable when the car is cold, but it does it throught all RPM's, either at low or high throttle. In boost it's usually okay, EXCEPT for around 4k rpm. I hit this nasty little lean spike (reads about 18 on the wideband for a split second ) right at 4k. Before that, it's fine- readings around 13. After that, just fine- readings around 13. But you can feel when it hits that lean spike too, because it almost bogs a little bit...I guess I'd call it just a little loss of power. Low throttle driving is fine, no lean spikes there.
I changed out my plugs today with no results. For what it's worth I'm running NGK BKR7E's gapped at .03
So I was going to tackle maybe the coil next because as far as I can tell it's never been done. But do you guys have any ideas? I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
