what's up my fellow dsm'rs. i finally got this job in miami and i need a place to stay. i've been online looking for apt's, but i don't know anything about the areas down there. i got to move this month, so i'm in a bit of a hurry. i've been finding places in north miami and miami beach, but again i wanted to know areas were cool and which ones i would want to stay away from.

if you guys know anything or can help, i'd appreciate all the help i could get.

Thanks in advance,
Barry

Okay a little to late but here it is. I live in north miami and it isn't too too bad when in a house, but the majority of apts are pretty ghetto especially on the 6th Ave. and 167th St. areas. If you need an apartment you should proberbly come dopwn and scope the area before any real choices are made. Miami is awesome and i wouldnt live anywhere else but you just gotta watch your back sometimes :beatentodeath:

yeah, i heard about living down there and what certain areas are like. i have a few people helping me that i've grew up with and now some miami dsm'rs. for example, i'd give them addresses of some places i found and they would check it out for me. i trust my boys. i agree though, it would be wise to go down first, but that's not going to happen. i mean, that's what people do normally, but i have my reasons why i can't go. anyway, thanks for replying though

just avoid any place that is too far to the east, and/or too far to the north.

south west region is the best.

Cost of living in south Florida is really high.
