Methane not Methanol set-up can I run this?

So I am stationed in Italy and have access to Methane not Methanol. I want to know if it is possible to run this obviously I would have to buy all supporting parts but need an idea as to what I would need to run it. I looked threw the threads and didnt find anything on this subject, I really hope that someone is doing this or has some info.

Yeah, you can run a methanol setup... All you need is a tank, pump, and the injector. AEM, Devil's Own, and several other companies make methanol setups.

Had to fix it I have access to methane here not methanol have been searching though.

Well being a gas I would possibly say it would be similar to a nitrous setup? You should look up propane kits as well to see how they are setup too.

That should give you some more insight on what younwoukd need to do. I can't say I've heard of methane being run on a vehicle whether it's gas or diesel. Then again, I never bothered to find out

methane is a gas used on eco cars as a alternative fuels like lpg you can get conversions as they can use cow dung and process it to make it work in petrol cars but its not really going to help in the form as methanol. the easyest way as ive read is just buy screen wash as that contains it apparently? ive never read a bottle so i dont know but if you search it they should say.

On another note, you don't exactly need methanol for injection. You can get very similar results using ethanol injection but make sure it's at least 100proof. Ethanol doesn't have the same properties as methanol but it's better than nothing. Isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) works as well.

Windshield washer fluid contains methanol as well. Stay with the blue fluid and be sure there is no glycol in it. Colder the temperature rating will contain more methanol. Where I live, anything colder than -20* generally contains glycol.

You can get results from ethanol that are very close to methanol, if you have access.

Washer fluid works ok (its just meth, water and dye), as does rubbing alcohol. Meth is ideal, but you can do very well without access to it.

So after reading into some forums on Devils Own I have decided to buy the stage 1 kit like LiquidX. All of my upgrades are in my profile is there anything else that you recommend with the stage 1 kit. I only have access to windshield washer fluid here but I want a more efficient burn in my fuel to reduce my chance of knock and of course for the H.P gains. After this purchase I just have to buy a Intake Manifold and then the suspension re-vamp.

I said I only have access to winshield washer fluid here I am still searching for methanol but so far nothing. Thanks for all the help guys!
